Common questions
Does it work when the venue Wi-Fi dies?
Yes. Scans queue locally and sync when connection returns. Staff see a live queue count so they know what's pending.
Can I bring my existing guest list?
Import any CSV — we auto-detect delimiters, handle names and emails, and warn about rows with issues. Eventbrite sync pulls straight in too.
What if someone tries to use a screenshot of someone else's QR?
Scanner flags it immediately as "already checked in." Each QR is a single-use token with no personal data baked in.
For agencies — can we fully white-label for a client?
Yes, on Business ($199/mo): custom domain, logo, and colors on guest-facing surfaces (invite, checkout, door). Organizer broadcasts keep a small powered-by line unless you’re on Enterprise, which can remove it entirely. No master marketing database — each event is its own container; Business can chain past crowds for loyalty segments.
Can I email people from a previous show?
Yes — without exporting a mailing list. When you create a new event, choose a past event’s crowd as a segment (Pro: one past event; Business: combine three or more for “frequent flyers”). Everything stays inside that event’s dashboard — not a separate CRM.
Can I schedule emails before the show?
On Starter you can send urgent updates immediately (send-now to everyone on the list). To pick a date and time — e.g. a Friday 6 PM reminder before a Saturday show — upgrade to Pro ( $79/mo).
Can I send different invites to different guest types?
Yes, on Pro. Create campaigns for each ticket tier — VIP, general admission, press, staff. Starter can still blast everyone at once with send-now; segmentation is a Pro feature.
How does the invite builder work?
On Pro, type a few lines about your event and the AI generates a styled invite — title, venue, date, hero image, RSVP button. Refine it in a visual drag-and-drop editor, then publish a shareable link. Starter includes a basic invite page.
